YC used to run syndicates for multi-national corporates, startups and investors, went on to build startups and scale-ups for investors, now invests in like-minded entrepreneurs. Prior to this, he has built a B2C SaaS business from inception to exit which was acquired in 2015 by MyOptique/Essilor (the largest lens manufacturer in the world).
