Ganesh Kumar Bangah (“Ganesh”) is a serial entrepreneur, startup investor and technology industry leader. Ganesh was the Ernst & Young Technology Entrepreneur of the Year Malaysia 2012 and one of Asia’s most influential people according to Society Magazine 2015. He was also recognised as one of South East Asia’s Top 30 Tech Founders by Tech In Asia in 2016 and was recognised as one of the the most inspiring Malaysian technology entrepreneurs by Top 10 of Malaysia.

In 2020, Ganesh acquired and became the Executive Chairman of Australian-listed Netccentric Limited that owns the largest influencer platform in Malaysia, Nuffnang with a community of 15,000 influencers in Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan. In 2017, Ganesh founded Commerce.Asia, an All In One eCommerce Ecosystem. Ganesh grew Commerce.Asia within 4 years to have a database of over 9,000,000 SME's across 7 countries with over 102,000 sellers that sold over RM3.4 billion worth of products in 2020.

Prior to founding Commerce.Asia, Ganesh was the Founder of MOL Global Inc. (“MOL”) where he served as the Chief Executive Officer of MOL for 15 years since its inception and was certified by the Malaysia Book of Records as the youngest Chief Executive Officer of a Malaysian public listed company when MOL was originally listed on the Malaysian Stock Exchange in 2003. Through a series of acquisitions all over the world, Ganesh built MOL to become South East Asia’s leading online payment gateway and South East Asia’s first internet company to be listed on the NASDAQ in 2014.

Ganesh is a former Chairman and current Advisor of PIKOM, the National Tech Association of Malaysia; is a member of the Special Task Force to Facilitate Business (“PEMUDAH”) and a Board Member of the Malaysian Global Innovation & Creativity Centre (“MAGIC”).
